Ribwich Conspiracy

logo.gifNow I know another reason why I stopped patronizing fast food chains (for the most part): the "limited time only" sandwich/giveaway/promotion. It's all a conspiracy to get you to go back for another heart attack. Even Homer Simpson could see through the imitation meat and fake barbecue sauce. However, it took him a trip to a Krusty Burger outlet in San Francisco that looks suspiciously like the Golden Arches on Stanyan. Heyyy...! Thanks for the enlightenment, Groening and gang. If only all of life's lessons could be learned from the mistakes of Homer Simpson, the world would be a better place. Well, a lot of things can be learned from the show, and not giving in to fast food conspiracies is one of them! Even though it's something I already realized, the extent to which The Simpsons satirizes things really drives home the lunacy of the society we live in, and I suppose that is the heart of the show's appeal and longevity.
