First Breakfast: Aloe Yogurt
AZUCHI - My first breakfast consists of foods similar to American breakfast foods, but slightly different. Sliced bread comes in loaves with fewer slices (6-8), however the slices are twice as big as back home. Orange juice is made from mikan, a Japanese variety of oranges. They're smaller than the California/Florida oranges Americans are used to, and sweeter.
Yogurt is different, too. It comes in a small container similar to American yogurt, but there is one flavor which I've never seen on the grocery shelf: aloe vera. No, it doesn't taste like lotion. It's lightly sweet. I also had a very creamy plain yogurt with a fresh banana. Yummy!
